Dan moved to the Philadelphia area 10 years ago from Central PA and instantly fell in love with the region's food and beer scene. Working in the industry and practicing the craft at home, he developed the concept for La Cabra to share his passion for food and brewing with friends, family, and (eventually) the vibrant beer fans in and around Philly. He lives in Malvern with his wife and daughter and is greatly appreciative of the opportunity that La Cabra and its fans have provided to him.

Chuck was born and raised in Malvern and is no stranger to Berwyn (Go Pioneers!). He began his career in hospitality as a bartender and has since held positions in varying facets of the industry. From the local pub to prestigious country clubs, Chuck has enjoyed sharing his passion for beer and food with his guests. When he is not on the floor at La Cabra, he can be found on the golf course with his better half or enjoying a game of chess with his son. Currently residing in Wayne, Chuck is glad to be both a contributor and consumer of the burgeoning suburban craft beer scene.

Raised in the Philadelphia, Lauren (aka Loe) started her career in customer service at the age of 15, working in hair salons. She graduated from the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute in 2009 and began working as a Hair Stylist. While working as a stylist, Loe decided to picking up shifts at Terrain Garden Cafe. This decision opened a new pathway for her within the hospitality industry. She soon realized this line of work allowed her to do what she loves. It challenged her and created the opportunity for here to grow professionally and personally. Starting as a busser/expo, Loe quickly rose through the ranks, learning from the bottom up, to being a manager. After gaining these new skills, Loe was eager to put them to use and be a part of something that was just about to blossom. La Cabra Brewing was that place and she couldn’t be happier to have continued her path with this crew. Making people smile and creating a warm environment for guests to enjoy themselves is what brings her joy. During her free time, you can find Loe studying the stars, recording music, and spending time with friends and family.

Jacey is originally from the small town of Reynoldsville, PA, where she grew up with her parents and 3 younger siblings. She attended Penn State University, earning a degree in Secondary Education with a Biology focus, and moved to Malvern shortly after graduation. Upon moving to the area, she drove the beverage cart and bartended at White Manor Country Club. That fall, she was offered a position as a Biology teacher and lab manager at The Haverford School. As a teacher, lab nerd, and craft beer lover, she soon discovered her interest in brewing science (yeast, enzymes… mmm…). After four years of teaching, she turned her sights to the beer industry and began working full-time at La Cabra Brewing. You can find Jacey multitasking as she pours pints behind the bar, propagates yeast in the brewery lab, and plans parties as La Cabra's Event Coordinator. Outside of La Cabra, she likes to check out other local breweries, play golf, hang with her pup Memphis, and work on projects around the new house.

Scott grew up just down the road in Wayne and attended Radnor High School. Since graduating from Radnor, Scott obtained a degree in Communication Journalism from Shippensburg University and has worked for various media companies including; ESPN, Stick Figure Productions and Masterpiece Multimedia. After joining La Cabra's front of house team, Scott's need for a creative outlet was quickly fulfilled by becoming La Cabra's Director of Social and Multi-Media. Scott is responsible for LCB's social media content, website management, creation of digital and print media, as well as promotions and marketing. Although Scott loves to look at life through a camera lens, you can also find him behind the bar serving his favorite adult beverage... beer.
Chef Lianna reckard
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Lianna started on her culinary journey 12 years ago. She immediately fell in love with food and everything about it. She set herself on a course determined to be the best, and chose to do so by working closely with a number of talented chefs soaking up everything they had to teach her. She has worked for other brewpubs such as Victory Brewing and Station Taproom, learning to appreciate and utilize craft beer in her cooking. She strongly believes that great food not only feeds your belly but feeds your soul, and enjoys seeing the smiles on people’s faces after eating one of her meals. Cooking is a teaching craft and she enjoys sharing it whenever possible. When she isn’t working, she is a mom to the greatest boy in the world! She also loves music (most importantly The Beatles), the beach, reading cookbooks, creating recipes, and of course good beer!

Chris's background is in marketing, brewing and the restaurant industry. He is a graduate of Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School and Penn State University with over twelve years of experience in the restaurant industry. Chris is a former brewer at Round Guys Brewing Company, Conshohocken Brewing Company, and Tin Lizard Brewing Company and he served as Operations Director at both Round Guys and Tin Lizard. He's been awarded several local accolades for beer brewing including a silver medal at the World Beer Cup. Prior to joining the brewing industry, Chris managed marketing campaigns for Nike Running. He is an Eagle Scout and a former Division 1 athlete. In his spare time, Chris enjoys playing music and cheering on Philadelphia's sports teams.
Justin has been part of the La Cabra team since day one. Starting out in the front of the house serving, Justin’s passion for great beer and brewing soon took him out of a serving position and got him in the brewhouse. He has become the resident “haze-boy” and official on all thing hazy, juicy and delicious.
